Cesar A. de la Torre attended medical school at the New York University School of Medicine.

He trained in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital where he remained for his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology.

He is board certified in gastroenterology.

Dr. de la Torre treats all gastrointestinal diseases but has a particular interest in liver diseases (especially viral diseases of the liver and liver cancer) and in evaluation of patients for liver transplantation.
